VIXENTIO / Connectors
Use VIXENTIO from Claude or ChatGPT.
What it does
The VIXENTIO connector lets the assistant you already use work with your VIXENTIO account. Ask Claude or ChatGPT to put your notes on a Board, check on your team's work, or open a request for an agent, without leaving the conversation.
You sign in with your own VIXENTIO account and choose Allow. From then on, everything the assistant does runs as you, with your rights in VIXENTIO: it sees what you can see and changes only what you could change yourself.
Its tools, in plain words:
- List projects: your teams' projects, your role in each and how much work is open.
- List work: a project's shared work: its state and who's responsible.
- Work status: one piece of work: its state, how many criteria are met, the current run's step, the review and open guidance.
- List agents: a project's agents: their roles, their state and where they run.
- Create work: a request with a title, a brief and criteria, as a draft or ready. It starts nothing.
- Post guidance: guidance for a work's agent, as a proposal the work's driver accepts or declines.
- Create Board: a Board in your library, made of sticky notes and text.
- Create Note: a notebook made of paragraphs of text.
- Add to Board: sticky notes and text below a Board's content, on a Board you own or can edit.
- Find Boards: your Boards and the Boards shared with you, by title.
Set it up in Claude
- In Claude, open Settings › Connectors and choose Add custom connector.
- Name it VIXENTIO and paste the address
https://mcp.vixentio.ai/mcp, then choose Add. - Choose Connect. VIXENTIO's sign-in page opens: sign in, or make an account.
- Check the page: it should say you go back to claude.ai. Choose Allow.
In a conversation, the connector's tools are in Claude's tools menu, where you can turn them on or off. Custom connectors depend on your Claude plan, and in a Team or Enterprise organization an owner may need to add the connector first. Claude Code connects the same way (claude mcp add --transport http vixentio https://mcp.vixentio.ai/mcp); its sign-in returns to an address on your computer, and the sign-in page says so.
Set it up in ChatGPT
- In ChatGPT, open Settings › Apps › Advanced settings and turn on Developer mode.
- Choose Create app. Name it VIXENTIO, paste the address
https://mcp.vixentio.ai/mcpand choose OAuth for authentication. - Confirm that you trust the app, then choose Create. VIXENTIO's sign-in page opens: sign in, or make an account.
- Check the page: it should say you go back to chatgpt.com. Choose Allow.
In a conversation, choose VIXENTIO from the tools menu. Developer mode, and with it actions that change something, depends on your ChatGPT plan and your workspace's settings. ChatGPT asks you to confirm each action that changes something.
What to ask
- "Put these meeting notes on a VIXENTIO Board as sticky notes."
- "Turn this outline into a VIXENTIO note."
- "Add these three ideas to my Q4 planning Board."
- "What's the status of the checkout redesign in VIXENTIO?"
- "Open a VIXENTIO work request for my team: the pricing table is cramped on phones. Criteria: no horizontal scrolling at 375 px, prices stay readable."
- "Tell the agent on the onboarding work to keep the primary button color."
Ask your assistant to share it on Vixentio. When a conversation produces something worth keeping, such as a plan, a list of ideas or a summary, say "share this on Vixentio". It becomes a Board or a Note in your library, where you can open it, edit it and share it with your team like anything else.
Safety
- It acts only as you. Every call runs with your account and your rights in VIXENTIO, through the same checks as the apps. A Board or a project you can't open stays out of its reach.
- Its sign-in works only for the connector. The rest of VIXENTIO refuses the sign-in your assistant holds, so it can do what the tools above do and nothing more.
- It never starts agents, publishes, merges, deploys or deletes anything. Guidance goes to the work's driver as a proposal, and starting a run stays in VIXENTIO.
- It reads only what a status needs: titles, status words, counts, review states and links to VIXENTIO. Never code, file paths, diffs or the text of plans.
- Your assistant asks first. Every tool that creates or changes something is marked as one, so Claude and ChatGPT ask you before using it, as their settings allow.
- Secrets stay out. Text that looks like a password or a key is refused, never stored.
- Limits: 60 calls a minute, of which 20 may create or change something, and 200 changes a day.
- You can disconnect it any time. In VIXENTIO, open Settings › Account › Connected assistants and choose Revoke: the assistant's sign-in ends at once. You can also remove the connector in your assistant.
What it costs
The connector works on every plan, Free included. Boards and Notes it makes count toward your plan's limits like any others: when you're at the limit, the assistant says so, and everything you already have stays yours to open and edit. Agents are free and unlimited; only human editors take a seat.
Troubleshooting
- The sign-in page says the request has expired. A request to connect lasts a few minutes. Go back to your assistant and connect again.
- The sign-in page shows another account. Choose Use another account and sign in with the right one, then connect again from your assistant: a request stays with the account that first opened it.
- The page says you go back somewhere you don't expect. Choose Deny. For Claude it should be claude.ai, for ChatGPT chatgpt.com, and for Claude Code an address on your computer.
- The tools don't show up. Turn the connector on in the conversation's tools menu. In ChatGPT, check that Developer mode is still on.
- "Too many requests." Wait a minute and ask again.
- It can't find your team's work. Work tools see the projects your teams have linked in VIXENTIO, and only the ones you're a member of.
- The assistant lost access. It's revoked, or your session ended: connect again from your assistant.
